Thickness:
Measured in
inches from the flat back of the moulding to the thickest part of the
moulding.

Width:
Measured in inches from one
side to the other of the moulding
To process
an order you will need to provide the following:

of application: depends on moulding profile

Crown Mouldings
Crowns: Can be made to an
inside, outside or “S” curve.

Inside curve (concave): Measured
by the inside radius and installed as if you are trimming the inside
of a circle.

Outside curve (convex): Measured
by the outside radius and installed as if you are trimming the outside
of a circle.

Cove down: Crown moulding is
most often installed cove down. All crowns will be made to this
configuration unless other specified.

Cove up: Crown moulding is
rarely installed cove up. If your design requires this configuration it
must be specified.

Base Moulding
Base: May be made to an inside,
outside or “S” curve.
Straight base will not flex to fit bullnose corners.

Casing
Casing:
Used to trim a number of different types of arches specified below.

Almost always installed with the
thickest edge on the outside of the arch. All casing will be made in this
configuration unless otherwise specified.

Shown here with the thicker edge
inside casings are rarely installed this way. If your design requires this
configuration it must be specified.

Half round: Measured by both diameter in inches and the radius in inches.

Quarter round: Measured by the
radius in inches.

Full circle: Measured by both the diameter in inches and the radius in
inches.

Arch/Eyebrow: Measured by the
diameter in inches and the center height (spring line/rise) in inches.

Elliptical/ Equal leg arch:
Measured by the diameter in inches and the center height (springline/rise)
in inches. A template is required.

Oval: Measured by the diameter
in inches and the center height in inches. A template may be required and is
always helpful.
Back Band
Back band: Used to build up a
casing

Most common configuration with
the notched edge inside. All back bands will be made to this configuration
unless otherwise specified.

Back bands are rarely installed
this way. If you design requires this configuration it must be specified.
